We use many different methods to teach literacy skills. Students will do learning games, hands-on activities, and worksheets to work on vocabulary development, letter recognition, phonics, prereading, and writing skills.
Our Curriculum
Our curriculum is designed for the two years prior to kindergarten. Every day your child will enjoy educational stations, manipulative blocks, puzzles, dramatic play, and social time with other children. Teachers will read to your child daily and provide creative opportunities for interactive play. Pre-reading, writing, and math skills are introduced. Through structured social interaction and physical activity, children are encouraged to develop Christian character and behavior.
Our Classrooms
All of our classrooms are spacious to allow plenty of room for kiddos to move around. There are different areas for dramatic play, circle time on the rug, and learning time at the tables. Each classroom has direct access to a bathroom, with preschool sized toilet and sink.
In addition to our classrooms, we are blessed to have options for different areas to use for recess. We love getting outside in the fresh air, but sometimes the weather does not cooperate. Our kiddos will always have a chance to burn off some energy each day, either on the playground or in the gym.
Our Calendar
The school year at Noah's Ark runs from late August - early May. We follow the Warrick County School Corporation calendar for holiday breaks and weather related closings.
We are a preschool program, and regular attendance is encouraged for the benefit of your child.

We have fun in so many different ways!
We celebrate special days!
There are many days throughout the year that are extra special days for our students. Parents are invited into the classrooms for Thanksgiving and Valentines Day parties. The students put on programs for Christmas and Easter. In the fall, all grandparents are invited to take part in our Grandparent Rodeo. We also have Pajama Day, Hat Day, Silly Day, and more!
